Have you ever asked the following questions?
“How can I take better photos?”
“How to capture crispy sharp images?”
“How to shoot the perfect sunset?”
“How do I edit my images to look professional?”
“What camera and gear is needed for a waterfall landscape?”
“How do I post process the perfect HDR photos?”
If you have asked the above questions, you are in the right place. You will learn more than what you think in this blog.
Before you learn more about me, here is the link to my portfolio.
The reason I insert my portfolio here is that I want you to learn more about my photography and my style. As you can see from my portfolio, I devote all my time and effort into landscape photography. I am also stepping into astrophotography in the recent years.
When I first started doing photography, I just grabbed my old Nikon D90 and went out shooting.
I didn’t understand how aperture affects image quality. I didn’t know how to compose a good photograph. I didn’t know that a good tripod is more important than you think.
Many times I saw an awesome view but failed to capture it. I also made a lot of silly mistakes that newbies make. Like most hobbyists, I Googled a lot to learn. However, I found that most blogs and tutorial sites only teach the basics and technique stuff.
Those blogs and tutorials are great. But I want to see more than that.
Therefore, I created Capture the Moment. I want to show you not only tutorials and tips, but also the concept, the setting, the process, and everything that goes into an image.
You will see how I plan and compose a particular image, what my settings are and why, the post processing skills, and a lot more.
What You Should Expect from the CaptureTheMoment Blog
The goal for CaptureTheMoment blog is to help you become a better landscape photographer. I will show you the mistakes I made so you can learn from my mistakes. I will also show you the knowledge I have, not only through tutorials, but also with examples and case studies.
